Ataraxia Lotus

Lotuses are considered one of the most beautiful flowers in the world. They grow in dirty, murky waters and, despite its environment, it still grows to be a beautiful flower.  Our backgrounds or who or where we came from does not define us, but rather the person we choose to be. The moon embracing the lotus represents tranquility and peace. The lotus is at peace knowing her environment does not define her.
